Africa

map of africa soon

Africa is a vast continent (the second largest of earths seven continents) stretching from Europe in north and including part of the middle east in the east. A huge variety of both culture and in nature from wild life on the savannas to highly populated modern cities to large deserts. It's the cradle of birth of mankind and a beauty who has inspired painters, writers, and photographers for ages.

Sad to say what people usually think of when they think of Africa is famine, corruption, natural and man-created catastrophe, civil war when in fact some of the African countries has the most fertile landscapes on earth. In the coming planet jumper guide dedicated to this incredible country and it's people we'll try and give you small drops of the magic which awaits a well prepared traveler. We'll show you where you can go skiing, golfing, and lay on the beach all within an hour travel, we'll tell you about the proud history of the old merchant cities and much more.

For a start I have compiled a list of informative travel litrature and fact books, you'll hopefully find both useful and maybe more importantly inspirational.

  • Ghana, 3rd : The Bradt Travel Guide (Bradt Travel Guide) #new, August 2004
