often referred to as the old world in some history books are a complex peace
of puzzle. Not really a georaphical continent , and with a large varity of
languages and cultural preffences. Many of the European countries are joined
in the European Union which is a political and economical establishment slowly
moving towards an integration that might some day be like the us. A fedaration
with a common governing body at top, today though it concist of soverin states.
Most of the current European Union members has one currency, the euro.

In
my opinion the most beutiful city in north of Europe. Helsinki offers a
a wide range of sights, sounds, and impressions for all your senses.
It's part of History in making. It was for many year one of the few
places where east met west and vice versa, this influences can be seen
all over town. From the ortodox churches to some of the cusine.
Helsinki is also a conecting point if you wish to travel around both the north of europe and parts of the new
european countries such as Latvia and Estonia witch can both be reached with a short both trip. St. Peterburg in
Russia is also just a rail-road trip away. Helsinki has ferry conection to germany, denmark, Stocholm (Sweden), and
as I metioned the capital of Estonia. Further travel to lapland is also easy acceable wehter you go by rail, flight,
or rent a car (mind if you come in the winter and are not used to snowy road - don't try driving).
Finland has an extrodinary nice nature wheter you travel along the idylic coast line or deep into the pine wood forest
with all it's lakes. Making a nice stop for those intresting in fishing or wildlife exploration. Photographers, hunters, or
sports fishers all love this country. If yo wish to get away for a little time, I recomend renting a cabin and meditate
trough the beautiful summer.

If you plan on renting a car and have a few days to spare we recomend driving the Nordsjovegen from

go to Stavanger and the rest of Rogland is late May to Early August. At
this time of the year you may also enjoy the beaches stretching from
